Social Media Content Samples

Rhode Island, January, 2025. Below please find two blogs that I wrote and optimized in order to promote my narrative nonfiction book and my art + writing center online.

In order to capture SERP (search engine ranking pages) - a first page search for a book and off line gathering place  - I created responsive content.

The book's blog is a 'compendium' to the text, containing historical context. Later, as I lectured on its subject, I posted about the different questions gained from receiving audience/student feedback.

From analytics on aggregate visitor behavior, I learned that this context worked to sell my book. The rate of return on the time costs, however, is probably inestimable. Visitors from all over the U.S. and especially Germany, still read this blog.

The second blog is about 'all things BoP," the art + writing center that I founded in 2019 (closed in 2023). Although the pandemic and imposed closures greatly restricted operations, BoP was still a gathering place because I insisted, when I could (and still be within the confines of state and federal sanctions), to stay open. I thought it important, especially for young people, that they have a place to go. Unfortunately, the weight and strain of those years, along with a professional writing opportunity, gave me a difficult reason to close it down. The blog posts reflect the spirit of the place I created with the help of other renowned and local writers, artists and especially patrons and students.
